The Rivkin Center began as a tribute to Marsha Rivkin, wife of renowned oncologist Dr. Saul Rivkin. After Marsha passed from ovarian cancer in 1993, Dr. Rivkin and their five daughters (the youngest 11) were determined to turn their grief into something positive. Today, the Rivkin Center is proud to honor those who inspire us to keep fighting for prevention, early detection, and a cure.
Starting April 1, 2025, the Rivkin Center’s ovarian cancer research funding, global symposium and fundraising activities will continue under the leadership of Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA).
