More than 2,000 participants joined us at the SummeRun & Walk for Ovarian Cancer on Sunday, July 14th — helping raise awareness and funds for critical ovarian cancer research and education. We are so grateful for the support of the community at this inspirational event every year, and this one did not disappoint!
Sachia Powell was our 2019 SummeRun honoree and spoke during the opening ceremony about her team of superheroes: family and friends, doctors and clinicians, and ovarian cancer researchers who are working to cure this deadly disease. She later joined 83 ovarian cancer survivors for a survivor tribute on stage. We are always so touched seeing the ovarian cancer community come together.
We are thrilled to announce that over $465,000 has been raised for the SummeRun so far, and continues to climb as more donations roll in. We expect to reach our goal of $500,000!
Thank you all to those who participated, volunteered, and donated to this year’s SummeRun and the fight to end ovarian cancer. We wouldn’t be able to do it without you!
