The Rivkin Center plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration and dialogue within the scientific community through symposiums and conferences.
Co-produced with the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), this symposium is thelongest-standing ovarian cancer conference in the world. Since 1996, this symposium has brought together clinicians and researchers from across many disciplines and institutions worldwide to share ideas and advance the field of ovarian cancer research. The symposium aims to enhance understanding and knowledge, discuss recent innovations in research and treatment, and address pressing concerns of leaders in the clinical and research community.
The Biennial Ovarian Cancer Research Symposium addresses major needs in ovarian cancer research and treatment with sessions covering novel therapeutics, immune-oncology, tumor microenvironment, early detection, prevention, DNA repair, and rare tumors. We will also hold discussions about health and healthcare disparities and the role of patient advocacy in research.
The Northwest Gynecological Cancer Symposium (NGCS) is a vital regional initiative that accelerates scientific progress by fostering communication and collaboration among scientists in the Pacific Northwest. This symposium brings together leading researchers and clinicians to discuss the latest developments in gynecological cancer research, including innovative treatments, early detection methods, and the impact of new research on patient care. By fostering a collaborative environment, the NGCS helps to advance the field of gynecological cancer research and improve outcomes for patients.
