Mom battled stage 4 ovarian cancer for nearly 12 years. 12 years of strength, courage and hope. 12 years of fighting so she would be there for 12 more… 12 more summer vacations, 12 more Christmases, 12 more anniversaries, 12 more years of birthdays, plus a wedding, the births of four grandchildren and millions of smiles, laughs and hugs. Karen was the greatest mom, most loving Grandma, wonderful wife, a daughter, a sister and best friend. We’re Walking for Karen in our family’s 15th SummeRun in memory of Karen. She earned her wings March 1, 2018. We love you, mom. xx
