I will never forget the day we stood in Dr. Rivkin’s office for the first time and he said to my Mom, “You are not going to die from this disease. You will die from old age, but not this disease.” We all believed his words because my Mom believed the words with her whole heart and soul. She went on to fight the cancer and is an 89 year old survivor. I love that my Mom moves through her life with incredible dedication to her family and her friends, all the while keeping her inner flame going with hope and love to fight any challenge that comes her way. #Rivkinlovesmoms
