My wife was diagnosed with ovarian cancer a year ago May; she underwent surgery to remove the large tumor just a couple weeks later. Somewhere along the line she heard about the SummeRun and insisted she needed to get involved. She completed the full 2019 5K SummeRun just 39 days post surgery. She’s an amazingly strong woman and a great role model for our daughter. I am so grateful she is with us to celebrate her first year of survival.
