My Mom fought ovarian cancer for 7 years after getting diagnosed in 2004. I have seen her valiantly fight through her 4 surgeries and 4 chemotherapy cycles in this period of time. I remember that when she was in remission between her surgeries, we used to do adventurous things such as – wildlife safaris, hikes in the Himalayas and take frequent trips to shopping malls! She was full of life and wanted to survive this disease so bad. More than I ever wanted anything, I wanted her to get better. I wish she was with me today. I wish she was diagnosed earlier than Stage 3A. I wish I could have known better treatment options and use them. I wish so many things… I will still keep connecting with you Mom, I love you deeply.
