  • First Steps for Ovarian Cancer Caregivers: The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) provides essential guidance for caregivers of ovarian cancer patients. This includes information on the importance of self-care, seeking support, and effective communication with the medical team. It also offers practical tips on managing the emotional and physical demands of caregiving, such as joining support groups, setting boundaries, and staying informed about treatment options. 
  • Library of Resources: The NOCC Programs and Resources directory has 36+ brochures available in both English and Spanish with information about every aspect of ovarian cancer. 
  • ASCO Answers Guide to Caring for a Loved One With Cancer: This free guide includes practical tips and advice for communicating with family members and the healthcare team.

  • Sisterhood of Ovarian Cancer Survivors: Women only Facebook group for Ovarian, Primary Peritoneal and Fallopian Tube Thrivers and Survivors as well as women who are relatives, friends and those who are professionals working with Ovarian Cancer Survivors.
  • Teal Men of OC : A Facebook group for men who are, or were, the primary caregivers for a loved one battling ovarian cancer. This group also offers opportunities for meet-ups and events.
  • Reddit r/ovariancancer: Join discussions on treatments, share resources, and offer mutual support within this dedicated subreddit.
  • Twitter: Follow hashtags like #ovariancancer and #ovariancancerawareness to stay connected with a broader community and receive up-to-date information.
