Christina Best (she/her) is a young adult survivor of breast cancer with her stage 2A diagnosis occurring at the age of 24. A high school teacher at the time and only a few years out of college, Christina was catapulted into a world of decisions and realizations that pushed her to become an adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer advocate and general advocate of knowing your body. Christina is passionate about inclusivity and encourages people of all gender/genderqueer identities to know themselves and advocate for their health. She has served on panels and as a keynote speaker for various events focused on health and survivorship. When she’s not connecting with people about health and wellness, Christina is practicing her art, out in nature, and/or trying something new.
