Rivkin Center/CARE Fund Award
About the Award
The Rivkin Center and Washington state’s Andy Hill Cancer Research Endowment (CARE) Fund have joined together to invest $1M in ovarian cancer research in Washington state, creating a pioneering public-private partnership. In 2024, $400K in research grants will be awarded. Another $600K will be awarded in 2025.
Award Details
For 2024, two Rivkin Center/CARE Fund Awards of $200,000 each will support investigator-initiated projects in all areas of ovarian cancer research to researchers in Washington state. In addition, projects designed to analyze data from already funded clinical trials will be considered.
Because the Rivkin Center and the CARE Fund are matching private and state funds 1:1, researchers will not be required to find additional funding.
Up to 30% of funds may be used for indirect costs.
Investigators in Washington state at the assistant, associate, or full professor level (or equivalent) are eligible to apply, subject to guidelines of the applicant’s home institution.
