Become a Campus Ambassador
Passionate about women’s health and driven to give fellow students a fun way to learn what they can do to be more in control and less in fear of cancer? The Rivkin EDU Campus Ambassador intern program on the PAC-12 campuses is for you.
What is a Campus Ambassador?
As a Rivkin EDU Campus Ambassador, you will network at your university to help facilitate life-saving education workshops that empower and educate on ovarian and breast health. Primary responsibilities will include organizing and coordinating Rivkin EDU workshops at your university for students in their late teens and early 20’s. The purpose of the Rivkin EDU workshop is to educate college students on breast and ovarian health, giving them tools for early detection, risk assessment, preventive lifestyle choices and self-advocacy.
What does a Campus Ambassador do?
This experiential learning internship offers you to be the liaison between your university and the Rivkin EDU program. You will identify potential groups or organizations who meet regularly and could benefit from an ovarian and breast health education workshop. Once identified, you’ll be in charge of on-campus networking, outreach, workshop coordination, ensuring the workshop runs smoothly, all workshop administrative duties, and promoting the Rivkin Center on your campus.
